Default who else...

Loves getting started on a new project? I bought our (our being wifes driver but my project) 3 a little over a week ago and parts are already rolling in. Its an '05 titanium gray sedan. I've got a set of factory fogs ordered, 17" wheels -gunmetal w/ polished lip , factory style sport wing, and I already fabbed up a dual exhaust outlet. I work at a shop and I actually picked up some close out 225/45/17 Falken tires for TWELVE dollars each... TWELVE. I'll post some pics once its in respectable form. Those were the easy and obvious choices. Being completely new to mazda, now is when I need some advice. What are some of the easiest performance and aesthetic upgrades that can be made to these things? It's a broad question, I know, but my performance experience is relegated to the '67 plymouth I have in the garage... it doesn't quite convey. haha. I'm game for whatever suggestions; CAI's, HID upgrades and the like, but I've got a taste for subtle upgrades that set the car apart. I've been reading up on the Axela. The euro version of the 3 as best I can tell? I saw the badges on ebay and those seem to be a styling que that would perplex the average motorist. Anyhow, I would just like to hear what your guys favorable upgrades are versus what is tacky and taboo.
