Default wheel sizes

I am wondering if anyone has changed stock tire size from the 205 to a 215 and if there are any issues with doing so. plus what is the best tire for the cheapest price out there and if snow tires ride rough on dry pavement. thanks.

I went up to a 225/45ZR17 on 17x7 wheels w/60mm offset. No problems except at full lock steering (rubbed a little on a friendly surface so no tire damage. (don't go beyond 215 on the stock 6.5" wide wheel)

The Dunlop Wintersports ride excellent on all types of pavement/conditions, but the compound of the rubber will wear out quickly on dry pavement so I wouldn't run them off-season.

The problem w/putting a 215 in place of the 205 is that it"s either going to be too tall or too short.A 215/47.5-17 would ideal, but of course that size does not exist.
