Yep, they both do look better. I'd be surprised though if they made major sheetmetal changes that soon though, unless the new styling kills sales.

I'm growing used to the front end of my '10 even though it looks silly. The wife just says "how is Smiley doing today". Someone else asked what was up with the Jack-O-Latern front end. Oh well..............

Talking about the 2010 "smile", it is way overdone on the Miata, too the point wher it looks silly.
Wit a blindfold on me I could have come up with a better design.

Hey!! At least you got one of the better colors!! I am glad they brought back Velocity Red too though. I just never got used to or liked TR that much.

I am beginning to think they (Mazda) are trying to bring back the Bug-eye (Frog-eye to you Brits out there) Sprite look. And actually on the MX-5 (they are not called Miata's any longer) I think it looks better because the grill is wider and not as tall as on the more practical models.

Yes, the new Pearl White looks great, I just avoid looking at the car from the front as much as possible.........

Today, coming home there was a white 3 in front of me, looked just like yours (and my '07). I was thinking about how much better the body style was on the last gen...........

As for the MX5/Miata thing, when I had my MX5, I had to refer to it as the "Miata" or no one knew what I was talking about....

I had heard that the Miata was known as the MX5 in the rest of the world long abouts 1990 or 91... shortly after I became aware of their existence. I would have understood.
