Does anyone have idea of the cost for a tune-up on a Mazda3 2016

Less than $100; do you really have enough miles to justify a tune-up on a 2016?

Wow, 112,000 miles on a 2016, okay, pretty impressive. Your spark plugs were due at 75,000 miles, so, unless you suspect they were never replaced before you bought the car, then it sounds like you're needing to tend to typical stuff like oil and filters and such.

Yeah I change the oil every 5000 miles ( full synthetic high miles) the car is driven on a rideshare platform hence the high miles and I don't know if the car has been turned up before I purchased it in February 2018, I did get one price quote of between $200-400

Given the kind of miles you're putting on, even 10,000 miles per oil change is conservative. Keep in mind, Mazda *requires* synthetic 0W-20 as the only oil for this car. Regarding the quotes you've been given for a tuneup, they are pretty high given the only "tuneup" related items in the Owner's Manual are air filter and spark plugs along with a number of inspections.

The term tune up on modern cars is obsolete. The PCM takes care of the "tune up" requirements. Apart from regular logbook maintenance ( which obviously includes filters & sparkplugs at required mileage) there is nothing to tune up anymore.

If things go out of spec, the engine light should iluminate to indicate a issue.
