Remove your interior paneling, if there are hols on the back, then there are holes, if not, it's glue., Use some goo-gone and fishing wire to remove it.

On the regular Mz3 the flying M logo and the word "mazda" have two holes each. I believe the MS3 has holes only behind the flying M logo

Here a few days ago i pulled them off to paint them and the "Flying M" has 2 holes and is held on by foam tape, the Mazda name plate has 3 holes with no tape, just tension-like clips built onto the nameplate. As for the 3, its just foam tape.

Default mazda 3 trunk and "mazda" lettering

hey guys, for all you wondering if the trunk part has holes in it, yes it does, for the hatchback 04-06 they do. like everyone else said, you have to use fish line, or kite string to get them both off, otherwise carefully use a soft lifter to pull it out. but you must heat it up first! use a heat gun or if you live in a hot state, on a sunny day give it a few hours and try pulling it off yourself

Sorry if I am repeating what is already here but there are holes behind the MAZDA and behind the middle badge on the hatch... I was going to "shave" the back and those are the ones that gave me trouble. The 3 is just stuck on but both others have holes.

I am thinking about gettig a new MAZDA badge and painting it silver to match the car...

I have an 07 Mazda 3 S Black Mica. For the emblem in the back, yes there are 2 whole that help align the emblem. To take off the emblem, floss works well, than goo gone to clean up the glue. When I made my Flying M, I used a Drimal and shaped it. Than I cleaned everything up really well, than used alcohol, than double stick tape.

If you check out my profile, I have pics of my emblem there.
