Default Timing Chain Job - then overheat , then engine damage

Hi there everyone, hope everyone is doing well
So bit of a long story , we had a general service done on a 2008 Mazda MPS - Mazdaspeed3 2.3l turbo - so the L3 TC , the oil was low so we had a service, so oil filter, oil and a general check , the Mazda dealer recommend a list of things ie timing chain VVT Actuator, guides etc (there was a rattle as the car started sometimes), so we did the job as it sounded like we should mileage - about 150000km (92000 miles)

After the timing chain etc was done everything seemed normal and at about 450miles after the timing chain was done and the first time the car went up a step hill , it ran a little hotter than normal and we got it towed as it was concerning (halfway between normal and hot on the gauge) , it went back to dealer and they diagnosed the thermostat , we explained it did seem rather odd as it had not overheated before the timing chain job

We kept an eye on the oil levels after that and level was fine and kept on eye on the temperature all ok , and at about another 700miles engine light came on and the engine vibrated , pulled over and again got it towed , the dealer happily towed it back to the dealership for us (which was great), but the bad news was there was now damage to the engine , so at this stage there only a few things we know - spark plug in cylinder 3's electrode is melted - there is no compression in that cylinder (the dealer did the compression check on all 4 cylinders) - there is normal compression in the other 3 - engine has not been stripped at this stage

Of cause started googling , *** Then spotted the crankshaft bolt not replaced and therefore the 3 x friction washers were not replaced either , timing slippage
There is a TSB saying these must be replaced every-time the crankshaft bolt is removed / loosened as it is a torque to yield bolt - Mazda says it must be replaced , must not be reused

Any help on this would be great on this one, just trying to work it all out
