Is there any way to adjust the high and low beams independently?
Just got a 3 for my wife. It's a Grand Touring S, and it has those creepy HID headlights that peer around turns. On low beam they're fine, but when you hit high beam, you only get about 2 degrees of added angle, which is a problem.
We live in a rural area with a lot of rolling terrain. Great for cycling, and for collecting deer as hood ornaments. When you're cruising along at night, the high beams don't really do a very good job. It's like someone is holding a visor across the top of them, and it's really dark above that cut-off line.
As far as I can tell, you can't adjust them without also raising the low beams along with them. Since we already get occasionally flashed by oncoming traffic, making the low beams higher is not really an option.
Not sure who thought it was a good idea to have both sets married to each other like this, but it's verging on dangerous. What have the rest of you been doing?
