How are you measuring your bar?
which bushing are you referring to?
what is the year of your Mazda?
front of rear sway bar?
Factory or aftermarket anti-rollbars?

You have to give important information and not just an incomplete question?

I measured it with an adjustable wrench and it measured bang on 17mm. Which is the same as other Mazda 3 owners in the UK that I have spoken to.
It is a Mazda 3 2017 Sport 2litre BM,BN And I am referring to the rear sway bar bushings

It is the stock 17mm sway bar

Mazda only had ONE size rear sway bar for that year & model 16mm that I have ever measured not that I have made a study of it...and 17mm is an unusual OEM size for this model year, so go by the application guide where you are trying to get the bushings. I know that some application read except manufactured in Mexico but I replaced the bushing on a MEX. made Mazda 3 and it was still 16mm
Otherwise to answer you exact question aside from the obvious and logical answer NO
If it is a true 17mm there are several universal bushings available that will work

On another forum a member has a 16mm bushing fitted on an 18.65mm bar ( all stock bushings and bars )
So surely a 16mm will fit fine on a 17mm ?

Also here.. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=7618852&

IT states "Sway Bar Bushing diameter can be within 1mm of your Sway Bar diameter. The clamping force of the bracket will account for the variance. "

I don't care what people do incorrectly and think it ok.
Please don't be another member that askes for help and then argues down the answers from a member trying to help. If you knew so much then why ask for help.
There are technical and engineering reasons why that Mazda owner is incorrect in the use of the bushing . The bushing must stabilize the antisway bar to keep it moving correctly in a rotational direction without binding or to be less secure under load operation. You DONT use the incorrect bushing in that area of a sway bar. Not sure where that info came from but I can easy challenge it author!
You can do what ever you want .......

If you want more technical reasons, contact ENERGY SUSPESION and talk to them.
If you like I can supply a couple of names . LOL I mean as they make some of my suspension products, I engineered I know a few of them. lol

I'm just stating what I saw in the thread. That is their stock bushing, and that is their stock sway bar. ^^

I appreciate what you are saying. IF you could recommend a 17mm Rear bush for me that I can get delivered to the UK that would be great.

Thank you.

Ok so you do know that those pictures are a great example of measuring badly.
Sorry I do not know who suppliers are that send to the UK?
I suggest getting the Energy suspension part number from their website and see if Amazon or ebay has a seller that can supply UK customers?

9.5154 | Universal Sway Bar Bushings -16mm (0.62 inch) (energysuspensionparts.com)

Amazon.com : 9.5154 | Universal Sway Bar Bushings -16mm (0.62 inch) Amazon.com : 9.5154 | Universal Sway Bar Bushings -16mm (0.62 inch)

9.5154 energy suspension for sale | eBay
