Default Super Street

So im super street class where we see what parts like, intake, exhaust, and nitrous do to a vehicle, some cars are stock, some are turboed, and some have upgrades like a front mount. We see what they do to emissions, and if they increase, decrease, or have no effect on performance. My group started with an a 03 svt focus (so lame) stock it put down 140whp/123tq, then we added a Steeda short ram intake, redynoed it made 141whp/125tq. Next we are doing the AEM cold air, then any other combination possible i.e cold air with magnaflow, then cold air with no exhaust etc.

Cars in use this round:
SRT-4- intake and exhaust mods
Mini cooper- intake and exhaust mods
Scion Tc- intake and exhaust mods
Pontiac GTP- intake and exhaust
SVT focus- intake and exhaust (my group)
Mustang GT 5.0- intake and exhaust

Cars next round:
Civic Si (turboed)- exhaust +tune
Jetta 1.8 w/agp stage 3 kit- exhaust +tune
Camaro with cam- exhaust and nitrous
Mustang GT 5.0 (procharged)- exhaust +tune
S-10 (procharged)-exhaust +tune

Cars that no one wants to use:
GTO
Civic
Celica
Jetta (stock)

Cars that are not ready for course (yet)
04 Black Mach1 with short shifter, borla exhaust, and intake
00 Acura Integra with intake and exhaust (want to drive it soooooooo bad)
04 Mustang GT with intake and exhaust

So the focus cat was clogged, dropped the exhaust and ran it just for the hell of it, and it made the whp and tq it was supposed to make after figuring in the stock crank hp. So we moved to a 03 civic, k&n short ram gave us 2whp and 7ftlbs, started with 110whp 100tq out of a stock d17 (single cam 1.7l), then we used an AEM cold air and gain....NOTHING over stock, looked at some flow numbers and saw that the increased airflow would provide more power is tuned. Next was a Magnaflow/w DC crap header and the k&n intake made an additional 1whp and 3ftlbs. A second exhaust is being installed soon then we are moving to a better vehicle. I will be posting all of the cars numbers another time.
