Yes, I agree. And yes I have had that problem too w/all three sets of tires I have run. Slipping the clutch or simply backing off seems to be the only way to tame the beast that I have found.
FWD+ (relatively) lightweight+ lotsa' torque= wheel spin... especially in the rain, or when your wheels are cocked, or when you are starting out uphill.
