Smelly exhaust from 2014 2.5L GT
In the summer, there never was an issue. Now that's it's cold it's quite noticeable. Not even my 2005 Mazda3 smells this way and I fill up both cars at the same station.
Any one else notice this?

Let's see if we can sort it out. Refineries make different blends of fuel in the summer vs winter. That is one difference. Catalytic converters use platinum in the converters and platinum is higher than gold now. They have started using palladium now due to the expense. That is another difference. EPA mandates are getting stricter every year and they mandate higher temps and leaner fuel/air mixture for idle than they used to. That said,i would take it in to a dealer and have it checked. The converter may be a piece of garbage or the PCM may need an update to counter that issue.
