Slow leak coming from Inner Shaft/Transmission
Hey all, working on a 2013 hatchback that my gf just bought. It has a very slow transmission fluid leak coming from the intermediate shaft side. I figure it's likely a bad seal ring. Before I take it apart and replace, could it be anything else around that area? Could it be the axle itself and it's worn or something? This car has 228,000kms on it. I'm usually working on my own Toyota Tacoma with far less kms on it so not sure what to expect. Appreciate any suggestions!
What trouble could I also expect? I've replaced CV axles / seals on ATVs but not cars. I figure the principles are the same and YouTube is my friend. haha
