does anyone know of a way to remove the shark fin antennae without ruining the finish on the car

the reception stinks, and I want to put back the original ugly stick. was much better even tho it was ugly
I don't have one, but it seems it's held on w/the same double stick tape the side moldings are. If that's the case, wait for a warm day (or a hair dryer) and peel it off. A little goo-gone or WD-40 should take off any residue. Even wax or a mild polish might help w/that.

Ihardly ever use the radio, but am interested in a working sharkfin for appearence and occasional use. What color is it painted and would you be interested in selling?

Still, what I'd suggested about getting it off should work for you w/o paint damage. Just make sure to rewax the area after.

If it comes from Volvo you know it's gonna be expensive. I'm sure it would fit, but when you can get one for $70, in color, and that will definitely designed to fit, why?
