I got a CEL from my thunder header and was wondering if i get a scanguage would this eliminate the CEL? How does scangauge work do i keep it hooked up to the car constantly to keep the CEL off? Whats up with scanguage. I read a little bit about it and saw it in one car but it looks like a dam temp meter.

 

If you're getting a CEL, one of the sensors is reading something it doesn't like. That's what triggers the light. The scangauge would reset the light (turn it off), but as soon as the sensor sees whatever it didn't like again, the light will come back.

 

so i'll just turn it right back off with the scan gauge but then that will be a bitch turning the dam light off every time it comes. There has to be a solution to this!
