Default Remove rearview mirror trim

2015 Mazda 3 with what I suspect is adaptive cruise control.

I'm looking to install a small transformer to provide Mini USB to a dash cam mounted on the windscreen.

I would like to remove the plastic trim piece around rear view mirror that houses what I suspect are the cams for adaptive cruise control.

The piece clicks back a forwards a bit but I'm not sure how it is held on and would rather not break it.

They are two seperate trims that clip togeather inline with the nirror stalk. Gently spread the two halves apart sideways.
