As the title states, I'd love some advice. I have a 2008 mz3 sedan (sport) with a single cd player. I have tried to unlock the trip computer with no luck. I am thinking about buying a 2006-2007 oem radio but don't know if ANY of them will do, or if it has to have a particular spec in order to allow the unlocking of the trip computer.

Any '06-07 HU will let you unlock the DIS. For an '08 HU you would need the 6CD version.
