I’m having a problem with my phone and the Audio system on my Mazda (basically the sound keeps stuttering when playing Audio (music, podcasts etc....).
The only change is that my phone operating system has gone from iOS 12 to iOS 13, so that’s where the finger of blame lies. I’ve been in contact with Apple and we’ve tried a few things that didn’t work, so they know what to know what firmware version my car Audio has.
So how do I find it out?
I’ve done a bit of Googling and found a few suggestions (none of which work for me) but they’re not for my specific car/radio.
I’ve got a 2011 Mazda 3 TS2, with (what I believe is) the default audio system. (Picture attached)
The software & technology in these cars is 10 yrs old now. Modern phones aren't designed for these old obsolete systems, sad but true.
Are you using AUX, USB or Bluetooth for music streaming?
Thanks for the reply; I know it's old - however I'd still like to find out what version of firmware the Car Audio system is running - any suggestions on how I can find this out?
Apple appear to have indadvertandly dropped support for some Bluetooth Profile Stacks in iOS 13 for some builds of phone. So if I can find the firmware version my car is runnign I can find out what Bluetooth stack it's running.
