Mines been doing the same thing, especially in the morning. It runs kinda sluggish for about the first mile then warms up and seems to get peppier. I have a drop-in K&N filter. From the posts it seems like its normal. I have been getting beat at the light (and on the road) by Camaros, Trans Ams and a Selene Mustang. I guess my car looks faster than it is ...and that rev limitor will scare the peas out of you when it kicks in!!
