Default Power Steering Warning Light stays on in my Mazda 3 2004.

Hello,

For some reason the Power Steering Warning light stays on, in my Mazda 3 2004.
I've used the car with this light on since 4 years without problems, everything works perfectly fine, I can steer even with my little finger, so it works 100% but can't understand why this light is on.

It's so bright and disturbing me when I'm driving in night, otherwise I don't care if it's on or not as long as everything is working just fine.

Anyone got an idea what might be the problem?

Thank you in advance.

Get it scanned for fault codes.

I took it to three different auto repair mechanics already and they all tried to read the code with no result. There are no authorized Mazda service where I live, actually the nearest one is ~400km away, so I can't show it to official service. Recently I got my own OBD 2 reader which connects to my computer but, there is nothing in there too. It says zero stored error codes. Maybe it can be read only with proprietary device which only Mazda has an access..
