Default Plastic Radio Buttons on my 3

Well my radio console buttons on the left handside are falling off, more specifically buttons 1,2 + 3. ANYWHOthe tiny plastic that connectsto them has snapped off and i wanted to replace them as opposed to sticking them on (i've lost the number2 anyways...grrz) ...so here’s the dilemma, apparently I would need to wait for a radio lying around in a dealerships workshop OR pay $1300 for a whole NEW console which is absurd, they are tiny pieces of plastic and I want to go direct to the radio manufacture as im SURE this can be done. I have a M3 Neo March 04, I’m upgrading next year (hopefully) and I’d like to have the car in decent condition.

SO afterall that, have YOU had the same problem?
And does anyone know whom makes the radio consoles, I’ve been told Panasonic OR some other mystery brand in some models......

Ifi get nowhere i'll end up pinching them from a demo model i rekon!

but how hard would it be to take out the whole entire thing. i mean looking at mine its like the whole complete thing (and with the auxillary output) that would screw up a few things. and its all together so hmmm.

Only 2007 and up have the aux input. As for how hard it is to remove it's a matter of about 5 minutes, 5 tension clips and two screws.

I'd look around for a cheap Mz3 HU for sale and cannabilize it. I've seen them going for as low as $50, or even free sometimes.
