Pedals Pedals Pedals!

Jaimie, a 3" is way too big for an NA 3, especially a 2.0. That"s turbo territory. You will lose power and certainly torque. A 2.25" would be much better for the street for sure... unless you are talking just the tailpipe tip. But since the stock tip is already 3", I didn"t think you meant that.

He's right, Jaimie, 3" catback is turbo territory. To put it into perspective, I believe my buddy with the modded EVO IX MR runs a full 3" GReddy exhaust. That thing is a monster. No way in hell you'd need the same...unless, perhaps, you had a Speed3.
Plus, did you think how that would look on the back of your 3? A 3" catback is certainly noticeable on an Evo - on your 3 it's going to look like your car has a huge pimple on its ***...not to mention, the power loss and sound would be terrible.
Gotcha. I think it would be cool to have those but that'll be sometime later next year. I gotta get those springs outta the trunk!
BTW - where is that pic taken of you car? I looks like it is on a natural granite slab. There is a placeI know near Kingsland, on the Coloradoriver I believe, where you can drive out on slabs like that. It's not too far from where you are, you should should check it out one summer day, it's a blast. It's called the "Kingsland Slab".

I assume you mean the pictures of my car, Steve?
The avatar: We wereat localMazda meet.We went down South to the Salt Lick BBQ.This is my wife and I leaving, still in the parking lot if you can call it that, when someone else took the shot.
Signature picture: My usual parking spot at work, Parmer Lane@ Mopac in Austin. I am always there before th sun comes up. This was at 4AM, I put the camera on the toe my shoe and set it for a no flash, nightshot. It took about 15secs to finish taking the picture.Try keeping your foot totally still for that long... and I took 3 or 4 of them!!!

Before your sun burned hot in space, and long before your race was born, I have awaited... a question.
ALL RIGHT, Steve!!!
How do you like them so far? Even easier than before to heel/toe, right?
Wait until the first time you try them with water, snow or ice on your shoes. You WON"T be sorry, I assure you.
