My drivers side fog light was shattered a few weeks ago by a rock. I took it to the dealer and he wants $400+ to replace it plus $100+ to install. I've checked ebay for replacement parts with little success, and am not paying the dealers ridiculous price. All I can find are "aftermarket" lights or the round style. I have a 2007 GTS with the rectangular lights. I've been told that Mazda has not released OEM parts for the 07's yet. I've also been told that they are a pain to install. Any help is apprecitaed!

And the front bumper is not to take off either.

 

Ouch. You do or dont have to remove the bumper?

 

Truthfully I am not sure about removing the front bumper. I do know you can get to the back to change the bulb by removing the screws under the bumper.
As for the price, that is an OEM part although I have seen some on Ebay.

 

BTW, you did not say if you car was a 4 door or a Hatch Back, the 4 door is more and the parts do not interchange between them either.

 

Yep, its a 4 door. I hate it when they make parts vehicle specific, thats why i love my jeep.

 

Yep, that is the expensive 1, but even the list price is cheaper than your Stealerships price.

 

really all I need is a new lens(glass). I suppose they dont sell just that?

 

I am not seeing the lense of just the light itself listed.
