Hey

I had a factory Bose stereo system that started playing up, would go fine then all of a sudden the sound would stop randomly, sometimes for 5 minutes but other times a couple hours then just turn on again. I now have had no sound for a couple months and when i turn the car on the stereo makes a loud thumping noise for a few minutes.
Everything lights up and shows on the head unit sound is playing? i have replaced it with an aftermarket head unit and still the same issue.

Help please

 

Sounds like you need to replace the Bose Amplifier under the drivers seat.
