Default How are speakers removed?

I just got a 2002 MPV, and need to upgrade the terrible stock speakers. Stock car speakers have never really bothered me
until I got this car was was shocked at how poor they are. I took a brief look this evening and it almost
seemed like the grills are molded into the door panels. Is this true or do the grills pry out to allow easy replacement of the
speakers; or am I looking at removing the entire door panel? Any tips on what I'm looking to do to replace the speakers would be helpful. This could save much aggrevation
trying to pry off or unclip areas that may not be necessary.

Also, Crutchfield indicates the fronts are 6x8/5x7, but Circuit City states they are 6-1/2", which is it and what
are the rears?

Thanks.

Good instruction on door speaker. How about the rear speakers? Looks like I must remove all inside trim from rear door to third seat. I have a 1990 MPV, bought new for $17,500 in May 1990 and have put 210,000 miles on her. Now the broken alternator is kicking my a**. That bottom bolt is blocked by power steering unit pulley..
