I assume you guys are talking about power lock cars. My '08 3i has key holes on both the passenger and driver's doors. I use the passenger keyhole ALL the time.

As long as its not a bowel movement, I'm okay with being part of a group movement.

Back in the 60s? Man, you really are old.

Actually, I was quite young in the '60's... only 12 when 1970 came around. The '70's were really "my" decade. (High school grad, college, girls, sex, drugs and Rock n Roll!! Yeah, Baby!)

Look, I'm just here to pass along information. If I was lying (and WHY would anyone lie about something so STUPID?), I'm a graphic artist by trade, and I'd just whip up a photoshopped version of a pic.

You want "proof"? Go find it yourself. All I've got is a camera phone, and it doesn't have the resolution to take a decent pic.

When I bought my 3i a few weeks ago, they had 6 more just like mine, all strippos with A/C as the only option, and they ALL had passenger-side keyholes. (Why did I notice? Who knows?) If it's such a big deal, then why not go to your nearest Mazda dealer and walk around the lot? Sounds like some people are just misinformed, or just too accustomed to seeing power-lock cars. I can't imagine how a manual-lock car wouldn't have a keyhole in the passenger-side door, or the trunk for that matter.

I've got better things to do with my time than borrow somebody's camera just to prove a no-brainer fact about my car. Don't believe me? WHO CARES? You can't believe half the crap you read on the internet anyway. Just call it "The Great Keyhole Conspiracy". Geez.
