im interested in buying a mazda 3. but im afraid of getting it and a new body style comes out. does anyone know when they plan on changin the body style???

 

If you have some of time on ya you could contact you're nearest Mazda dealership they should know

 

im a car salesman. dealerships usually wont give ut that info cause they want u to buy now. they will just say they dont know

 

True, well honestly from 03-up the Mazda3 has generally kept the same body style, but what are you kind of body style would you perfer 2 have?

 

well, i wnat the 4 door. but what i dont want to happen is. i dont want to buy a 2006 and then in 2007 model they re design the car.

 

I can understand your wanting to wait until the next model year before buying the 3. I first the Mazda 3 in 2004, and waited till the 06 model year to buy one, and the body has not changed, if it has, it was a subtle change from previous changes. I think every year they try to improve on the looks and features of car. I would buy one all over again if I had the chance.

 

Well so far Mazda has kept the same body style for 3yrs. for the 3, my suggestion is to buy the 06 model cuz i have a feeling they wont change the shape until 08, and this might not be a deal sealer but i race my 06 4-door Mazda 3 all the time and let me tell you its a very good stock car a 2.3L engine is big 4cyl., but as for finding parts for it like if you got in a accident you would get charged big time cuz its so new (a little off topic i know), but for 07 all Mazda is going to do is sell the same ones again with little body change.

 

I hope they add a trunk release to the remote keyless entry for '07... and a 6-speed manual would be nice to have too.

 

auto companies usually run the same body style for 3 years then do a refresh and that will last for about another 2.5 years before the next model comes out.

 

I got a late 05 model and noticed the difference between mine and the 06 model is minor stuff which can be easily changed. As a matter of fact...my Mazda3 now looks just like the 06 model and even better!

So my suggestion is... get the car... you can always "upgrade" to the new model's (if any) accessories if it comes out.

And hey....good choice.
