Default New look

I recently saw something on the speed channel that really caught my eye.
You can click on the link below to see what I'M talking about.
Don't get me wrong, I like the wheels on my hatchback, but I think I want a new look, and this one I really like.
The wheels are custom made, and are on the 54 Chevy.
They remind me of the "moon hubcaps" that were popular in the 50's and 60's.
You have to look at the video on the right side of the page.
The clip showing the car moving is very quick so, look closely.
With these "smooth" wheels, it looks like the car is just sliding down the road.
I am tired of seeing all wheels that have spokes like everyone else.
This smooth wheel look is different and it obviously give the car a whole different look.
I am going to see if I can find out who made those wheels, and what it would cost to have some made for the hatchback.
They look similar to the early design of centerlines with that deep dish look.
Obviously if I can have some made, the chevy emblem wouldn't be on them.
Here's the link.

I actually had Baby Moons and Beauty Rings on my 72 Ranchero, I liked the look on it.

I'M not overly enthused with the look when the car is parked, but moving down the road, that look of just "sliding" is pretty sharp.
For my taste, baby moons with beauty rims wouldn't do it.
I like the deep dish with the inner area being as flat as possible.
The baby moons are a bit rounded.
I am really interested in finding someone that can custom make them.
I have not seen anything close to them on the web sites that sell wheels.
They all have wheels with spokes.
Bob.
