New competitor
I was wondering ,after watching a commerical for the new Nissan sentra spec-V, who is the main competition to the mazda3 now that it is the #1 selling compact car. Obviously honda is going to be in the mix but with all the new competitors out there i was wondering what you guys thought. Base msrp is listed with the options for each vehicle. Mazda3 base msrp is $13,875

RE: New competitor
I went with the rabbit. all the cars up there are pretty much in the mix i think.
*The jetta GLI or 2.0T would probably be more in the range. a friend of mine owns a 2.5 and, while still a very nice fun car and has alot of playful character, is a big sluggish and alittle to heavy i think

i went with the civic, they look so nice, they handle like a dream and have a k-series motor in it and man its fast, as a matter of fact the only cars on this list that would give it run for it money is the impreza and G5 in terms of speed, it has the most potential out of all of the listed above, i still wouldnt get one though cuz its still easy as hell to steal, only a little bit harder cuz of tracking device.

I dont like the layout of the civic dash( the damn speedometer is a digital clock looking thing). also the civic is slower than the mazda3 stock to stock unless ur tlaking about the SI and if u are ur looking at a base msrp of 22grand
