I need help identifying a few things on this '06 Mazda 3 I just purchased. The first image is of 2 sensors mounted on a bracket directly in front of the lower grill.


These next 2 images are of a figure 8 shaped rubber retainer above and in front of the air filter housing, and of a rubber bushing that is right next to it.



This is a wiring connector that is mounted just above the cooling fan. Some sort of diagnostic connector maybe?


Last is this clip nut which is on the air filter housing.


I just bought a 2006 Mazda 3 (style I) and there are some things under the hood I cannot identify or figure out what they once did. Any help is appreciated.

 

The sensor behind the grill will either be for the climate A/C or else the SRS ( Airbags)

The rubber figure 8 is part of the airbox mounting, the rubber bush from memory should have a bolt thru it.

The wiring plug above the fan is definitely not diagnostic, it could be for a different grade spec or overseas model.

Not sure on the nut clip, once gain it may be for another engine, or grade spec or overseas model.
