Default my new M3 '06 questions.....

Just JUST bought a 2006 copper Red 3. Very happy but I don't have it yet. I had to order the color being it wasn't really available here in Vegas for some reason.

anyway I have been browsing around looking for some minor to major uprades to it. I know where I can find most (not a problem) I've dealt with custom vehicles before. I found a great looking body kit for around $800 that will look good, the minor motor mods are easily found. I just have a few easy questions.

My 6 disk cd player w/ bose speaker system will probably sound good but I have 2 subs and amp set up that I plan to add. Does the stock units have RCA jacks in the rear or do I have to use a converter? I don't want to change out the cd player. does the stock mids and tweets play loud enough w/o adding an amplifier to them?

Has anyone one this forum added a body kit to there M3 and have pics to post? Would love to see them.

will black rims look good on my copper red M3?

Any input would be Great!!! Thanks

yes converter, might amp the back seat, but the front seat is fine in mine (400rms system w/2 subs in a ported box). and black is going to look f-ing awsome.

Thanks for the stereo input. I guess I'll convert the signal and install the subs. 6 cd indash, why get rid of it...
I'm glad you think the black rims would look good. I have always been pro chrome. always hated black because it looked too rice, but with this color I think it would look good. I am almost debating about pulling the tires and powdercoating the stock rims black.....what do you think. or just pay $400 to get some black 17's and swap them out.

Powdercoat of or new rims???

plus any body kits out there. I want one. post some pics if any.

I've always hated black rims. Always to rice to me. But with the '06 copper red I think it would good. Just as long as there not drag rims. So I have been looking for what I want. I purchased some yesterday....and no I do not have my car yet. Still waiting and my exhaust, airfilter, billet grille, and rims have been purchased already
I already have my stereo( 2-12inch Punch2's and a Punch p4004 amp ), 2 headrest LCD's and 1 front visor monitors w/DVD to add as well.

The rims I went with are a 5 spoke Enkei. Paid $490 shipped. also figured I can get about $200 for my stock '17 alloys(I hope).

Here is the link to the rims....

Tell me what you think.

Those are pretty sweet. I like the black with a polished lip look, but these are even cooler in that the polished part is on the inside, good call.

As soon as the car is in I will post the pictures of it. Just waiting for the call from the dealership to tell me to come and pick it up. It's already registered too. Thanks for the input.
