Hey everyone,
My 2012 Mazda 3 skyactiv 2.0 has been misfiring on cylinder 2. I swapped ignition coils, and the misfire stayed on 2. I put a new spark plug in and within an hour and a half, the problem started happening again. I turn the car off and on, and the active misfire (prevents me from going above 40/45mph) resets and i can drive a bit until the next time it happens. Any ideas what may be happening?

its not uncommon for fuel injectors to go bad.

If the moving/changing the plug & coil doesn't fix the problem I would be looking at fuel injectors.
