I use the professional shop version of this system at the shop. but i can't bring it home every time I need to do brake work on my own cars. And i get tired of buying one way bleeder valve that work some of the time. For 50 bucks this DIY home version is fantastic. If you have ever done reverse bleed then you will never go back to the OLD SCHOOL method unless absolutely necessary again.

I had my DIY fuel injector service @ 30k miles coming up. We are going on a long week end drive this week end I thought this would be a perfect time to blow the cleaner through the F/I system.
Just to be clear if you are thinking OMG or WTF or have no clue at all about what Xylene is aside from cleaning your paint brushes then DONT consider doing this yourself. LOL You have been warned.

 

Is it a solvent based acrylic sealant thinner? or Lacquer Thinner?

 

I suppose I have used it among other things as a Lacquer thinner? It will not work on most enamels that I am aware of. I could look on the internet to find all the answers but.....

Well I am still picking at this project. It took almost 2 hours to meticulously mask the area off for protection. I decided I wanted some area like the valve cover valley to be a semi textured black to give a little contrasting color effect to the valve cover. I also had to change a few times from my original idea using the filler tube and cap. That has been a challenge and PIA. Those pictures will come later.

 

Currently Cork Sport does not offer a drilled and slotted rotor with their BBK. So I will use the Stop Tech rotor as a guide to drill my Cork sport rotors on the mill at the shop. This is only for aesthetic not necessarily for any performance improvements.




And to be clear I engineered and design a BBK for another platform that was sold world wide for about a decade
so this is not my first time machining up rotors to Perfroamcne levels
