Hey, got a quote on a remote start today and it came in at $670. The MSRP is 300 and they said the labor is 5 horus, which comes to 370. seems kinda high and long to install a remote start, especially since they want to sell it to me for the MSRP...right? any ideas of what i should do?

Are you trying to not void your warranty or something by going to the dealer.

I'm sure any local car stereo shop can do it for half of that cost.

 

i want to try and keep the warranty on the car..been having a lot of trouble with the headlights and just not sure what else might come in the future, ya know?

otherwise i would definetly go with a local shop

 

If you go to www.mazdastuff.com they are selling the remote start for $243.75. you'll save some money.
