I do not have the window sticker anymore.

The VIN # on the original paper work matches the car. If I run the VIN # Mazda says it is a 3i.The original dealer paperwork has a Mazda 3s for 17,775 but I have a 3i which should have been around 14,000.

if the dealers' paperwork says mazda 3s and the VIN is showing of a 3i then thats the mistake of the dealership. plus the price is showing of a 3s. u need to go back and show them the paperwork and rectify this quickly. mayb that salesperson hoo u dealt with is still there.. if he/she is then u thats ur lucky break. pin the blame on them.

I figured this all out when I looked back at the paperwork because I want to turn the car in early. I am looking into gettting the cx7. I expect a great deal.

Why? He/she saidthey weren't into cars. Why would he/she want a Speed?

I'm still struggling with the concept of leaving the dealership with a car that I didn't really know what it was. Did you lease a car that was sitting on a lot or did you pick the model and then go pick up what they pulled up to the door?

Go right to the owner of the dealership. If you are correct and the sales slip says 3s and the vin is 3i. I would think you have a case. I would call a lawyer. They will give you free advise on the phone. The lawyer may not want to deal with the case, but he can advise you if its worth taking to small claims.
More people should use small claim. It not the hassle it may seem. You can get all the info on the web. Look up you local court house. Goolge "small claims, City, State

I hate the dealers. I agree that my mazda dealer is Sh-T. I wont go back to my local dealer unless I have a warrenty issue. god I hope I dont because I know they will jerk me around.

good luck
