Morning All,

having trouble with my Mazda 323f

I recently had the serpentine belt replaced as the old one snapped. (Not cambelt)

unfortunatly the mechanic who replaced it has done it incorrectly not having the correct tension on the belt itself and he’s done a runner.

my question is where is the adjustment bolt to tighten or loosen the tension on the belt itself as my brother has said he can do this but we don’t know where abouts the bolt is, does anyone have a diagram atall??

its a 2002 Mazda 323f 1.6 petrol.

Two totally different belts. Your engine will have two separate belts.

Your right they’re are 2 belts, it’s the one that goes around the a/c and pas pump.

 

Bolt A C B, one or more of these requires the pulley to be lined up as your socket goes thru the pulley to access the bolt.
