Default Mazda 3 Wheels and Tyres

Hi All,

I am from Australia. We have a 2.0L and a 2.5L variant of the 3.

I have the 2018 Mazda 3 Hatch 2.0L with the standard 16" wheels and 205/60/16 tyres.

Can I change it to the GT wheels and tyres (215/45/18)? Will they fit? Any issues?

Thanks,
K.

Yes, both tires have the same overall diameter and the tires from the GT are only 10mm wider; clearance is not an issue.

Great thanks

Is the suspension on the 2.0L and SP25 GT the same? i.e. the ride height?

Just don't want my 2.0L look like it's sitting up on the 18" wheels

Ride height is the same but I believe (but do not know for sure) the suspension is a bit stiffer on 2.5 liter models; that and Mazda has historically put larger brakes on the larger engined models as well (once again, not sure if this is the case for your car).
