Hi, .. I am having the following problem:
I bought my mazda 3 2005 model with a broken powersteering pump. I bought another one and connected it, but one of the plugs is not the original , I used one that fitted.
The pump was working fine untill one day the light( powersteering)went on. I discovered that due that the plug was not the original one, that water went into the pump, causing corrosion. One of the pins of the connector plug was broken.
Right now I am waiting for another pump. I would like to know things that I could check in order to see if the problem is not in the wires also.
I need a troubleshooting checklist for this and also some instructions for the installation.

My second problem is : my "Hand Break" light stays on, even though I changed break pads and there is enough break fluid, what else can cause this light to stay one. ?

Can someone recommend me a good , but affordable eninge scanner for my car ?
