Default Mazda 3 platinum Keys wont work

HI All

New member here from ireland

hoping someone can help me, recently orange management light came on about 2 weeks ago. After a full service and two tyres changed (in a seperate tyre shop)

I was not in a panic to look into this as with lockdown i have drove about 8 miles in that time.

The key has been acting up around the same length of time, i was putting it down to a bad battery as id need to hold the key up to the glass for the little rubber button on door to open door.

I have spare key also.

So today i went to open the door and no joy, so i pop the little physical key out of the fob to open door manually and alarm went off it stopped after a minute.

I went inside and got the unused spare key

Same thing wont open door and when i try alarm goes off, i tried to sit in the car and start the engine with the engine start button and nothing.

Is this common ? what should i do ? would it be main battery for car ?

any help much appreciated

Also its bank holiday here no garages open
