Soaking in chlorine bleach will too. It takes 2-3 days and you have to replenish the bleach once in a while as it saturates and becomes ineffective.

Thanks, Richard. I am not in a hurry. I am going to pull them this weekend and start them soaking. I do expect that it'll handle worse and make less horsepower while the emblems are off, but after they are done...watch out!
