Well,

A couple of weeks back I started to hear a sputtering noise coming from underneath my front dash. I knew it sounded like the main blower for the heating, and air. I took the car to the dealer today, and its an 07 3 with 11,000 miles. I told the guy it sounded like the main blower fan was going out. He replied with yeah it could be a leaf or the main blower, if it's a leaf you'll have to pay 700-bucks to get it fixed. Has anyone had this experience with their 3's? I don't park around tree's so I find it hard to believe that its a leaf. I'm going to leave it be for right now and see if the fan chews up the leave, but its disappointing that this was the only solution the dealer gave me.
