I recently purchased a 2012 Mazda 3 and the keyless remote that came with it came with it would only work when I'm next to the car. I replaced the battery and same thing. So I bought a new remote and it does the same thing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I would locate the Keyless receiver inside the car & make sure it's attached where it should be, & not shielded or blocked by anything.
