Default A/C only works on High???

Hey what's up guys?

My dad has a Millenia that is a 1995 with the 2.5 liter motor in it. The problem is that the switch for the car that controls the A/C only works on the high setting. This also controls the heat as well. We changed the blower fan and we still have the issue? The original problem was that it wasn't working at all so we got a refurbished piece and that one doesn't work as well. It only works on the hight position. So the dealer told us to replace the control switch and we even did that and we still have the same problem? Could it be something called the Blower Resistor? Or am I missing something? I appreciate any insight on this guys. Thanks a lot!!

Would definitely be the best place to start with even. High fan speed is controled by the MAX-HI relay. All other speeds are control by the blower resistor or in the case of Millenia is called either a Power Transistor or Power Mos Fet on later Millenias. Is still mounted inside the heater blower unit after the fan to keep it cooled off and is replaced in same way that blower resistor is.
