Key lock

Does anyone know how to remove the little pin that locks the ignition key? It would be great just to be able to remove the key without pushing that tab in.

Me Too, it is closer than the 1 on my Explorer so I am liking it better.

Yeah the one on my old ranger ('88) was on the other side of the column.
