key light blinks

Default key light blinks
when car is shut off and key is taken out key light will blink continuously , new battery will go flat in a week or so. 2006 2.0 mazda 3 4s 84000 mi

2007 B2300 doesn't have PATS but light blinks anyway and car won't start.
