Hello! Maybe this is a dumb question, but I'll risk the embarrassment ;-)

I have a 2021 Mazda 3 sedan with the automatic headlights. As is the case with most modern cars, if I have the headlights on when I turn off the car they'll turn themselves off after a minute or so (regardless of whether the switch is in the 'auto' or 'on' position). But the same thing happens if I have the switch in the parking lights position.

Other (non-Mazda) cars I've owned with the headlight auto-off feature would keep the parking lights on if the switch was in that position, since parking lights are a safety/visibility feature. There are times when I want to leave the car parked somewhere for a few minutes with the parking lights on, or where I want to have both the parking and hazards on, depending on the conditions.

If there's a way to do this, it has escaped me, and I don't see anything in the manual. Is there some trick? Or is this just not an option?
