mix highway and city I have been averaging 27-29 in my 2008 2.0 i, it's only got 1100 or so on it. I think I might go to Autozone and get my K&N filter otw as well. but do you think we might see more gains from say the intake kit your talking about getting or maybe with one of K&Ns typhoon cold air kits? just wondering if I should save my penny since i have so few atm and just opt to get an air intake instead.

After trying both on mine, I'd save. And the K&N Typhoon is an excellent choice imo, but don't expect great results in the mileage department.

my MPG is 29.2, 99% local. i can get 45MPG (not average) when I cruise at 50 MPH. 2.0 mazda 3i auto,, no mod whatsoever (well, i insulated the low pressure A/C line).
