HI there,

I bought a Mazda 3 TS2 59 plate 11 days ago, have driven it less than 80 miles and the Turbo has gone already.

The garage is saying £1000 (£500 for Turbo then man hours) this doesn't sound right to me and am in dire need of advice.

I live in the Barnstaple area and dont know anyone here (new the to the area) i wonder if anyone can recommend what to do?

Does anyone know respectable and trust worthy Garage in this area? Can i buy the Turbo myself cheaper ( i think i saw one for £200 - Turbocharger TURBO Mazda 3 / 5 / 6 2.0 CD 143HP 105KW RHV4 VJ36 - VJ37 + GASKETS BRAND NEW MZ-CD RF7J - Turbo Diesel London)

Any help would be much appreciated as we are feeling very hacked and ripped off. (bought the car from private sales, as you can imagine they arent interested).

No. In the UK a "59" plate refers to the year of registration which was 2009
