I have a 2018 Mazda 3. 2 days ago, the interior lights started staying on. I've flipped the on/off/door switch to every combination. I've rechecked every door and trunk. The lights will only turn off if the car is off and locked. They are on when driving which kind of sucks at night. Any ideas?

 

Sounds like its a short in the switch or wiring, try dissconnecting the wiring at the switch, isolate the wires, remove switch and clean.
If not that then trace the wires back.
Meanwhile to avoid the annoyance remove bulb or tape over.

DO NOT tape over the light .
remove the fuse or remove the bulb until you find the cause.

 

a lot of cars have a built in timer that can't be changed. You could try asking in a sub or forum for your make / model.
