Mazda3 Offered in both a sedan and wagon, this sporty model offers a great car for the family, as well a fun track car.

I need help identifying my 2006 Mazda 3 (I can’t seem to find my specific model)

Default I need help identifying my 2006 Mazda 3 (I can’t seem to find my specific model)

My 2006 Mazda 3 has red tail lights, electric windows, black grille (instead of silver along the top), painted door handles (as opposed to black plastic), and according to the elderly female family member I got it from, the vehicle is 100% stock (at least in the body and parts that don’t get changed due to regular wear and tear).

if anyone has this car or knows exactly which version it is, please let me know. I’ve been looking around for about 6 months, and I’ve never seen one on the roads or in junkyards that have all of the characteristics listed above. Thanks!

Your 2006 Mazda3 is likely a Mazda 3 i, which was the base model of the Mazda3.

The red tailights were only available on the absolute base model of the Mazda3, the Mazda3 s and GT both got black taillights, and body color grilles. (Silver/Chrome grille is the 07-09 Mazda3 i model)
That being said, getting parts for any higher trim should be easy. I see many more of the higher trims than i do the Mazda3 i.
Hope that helps. Any more questions, just shoot.
