The new Corvette is in the 12's in the Qtr mile, I believe the Speed3 with a good launch would be high 13's low 14's

There was a TON done to the chassis (extra bracing front/rear) the engine (forged crank, pistons/rods, etc) and a new 6-speed transmission to help the Speed3 be robust.

Well that extra bracing and beefed up engine internals makes me feel better.

I was actually referring to a c5 corvette but if the mazda is running low 14's there no way!

check out Cobb Tuning for information on performance parts, chip/exhaust/intake for the mazda speeed 3, i have been searching like others trying to find stuff. Cobb is very accomplished with subaru and now is breaking off into other cars, and one focus will be with the speed 3. they look to be doing some very indepth studying on the car and will most likely come up with some very nice products.

Cobb does seem to be at the forefront of development for the Speed3/6 right now.

I plan on getting my MS3 next year, running through the warranty in ~2 years, then having some fun with bolt-on power & tuning adjustments via Cobb......
